Business Experience:

• Rasheed Allen began his business career in 1997 working for Parker-Hannifin Corporation, a leading worldwide diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision engineered solutions for a wide variety of mobile, industrial and aerospace markets. Mr. Allen's focus was in human resources, employee relations, labor relations and training. Mr. Allen later added to this experience by obtaining his business degree with a concentration in human resources, risk management and insurance. Mr. Allen continued his business career at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the area of human resource management. Next, Mr. Allen worked for Lockheed Martin in the Rotary and Mission Systems division. Mr. Allen's focus was in the areas of employee relations, labor relations and training. The division focused on simulation based training, tactical training and other mission readiness systems. Later, Mr. Allen continued his career as a claims manager at Geico where he supervised and coached claims adjusters. 
• In 2008, Mr. Allen completed his law degree. While in law school, Mr. Allen worked with the United States Attorney’s Office and the Heart of Florida Legal Aid Society.  
• After completing his law degree, Mr. Allen practiced law in Florida beginning in 2011 in the areas of commercial litigation and employment disputes. Mr. Allen also worked as a Contract Negotiator with Maple Street Consulting which focuses on contract management, vendor management and compliance for banks and credit unions.  Mr. Allen also volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem, representing abused and neglected children. 
• In 2013, Mr. Allen founded Allen and Dawson Consulting. Mr. Allen has used his business and human resource experience to consult business owners on business strategy and business planning. Mr. Allen's primary focus is assisting businesses in the technology and health care industries. Mr. Allen also assists business owners. In 2021, Mr. Allen decided to transition out of litigation and his legal practice and instead focus on assisting business owners across the country with a focus on small business owners and health care. In 2021, Mr. Allen also started a post baccalaureate program in preparation for admission into a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program. Mr. Allen intends to use this experience in continuing to serve the health care industry and to pursue admission to the patent bar.
